Using the Best Tools to Serve You Better

Computer

At H&A Systems Engineering, we use the best tool for the job and are not constrained to use only the software from a certain illegal monopoly. Sure we do use their software. It's an illegal monopoly, so we have to, but we also work with other platforms based on their capabilities.

Our computer policy is 3-year replacement, ensuring that we always have capable computer hardware on hand.

We currently use the following engineering tools to provide our control systems, communications, and RF sensors engineering services:

  • Mathematica 4 for Macintosh
  • Excel 98/97 and Visual Basic for Applications (Macintosh and Windows)
  • CodeWarrior C/C++ for Macintosh and Windows
  • CodeWarrior Java
  • TurboCASE/Sys CASE tool on Windows
  • Mac/WinA&D CASE tool
  • FileMaker Pro 4 on Macintosh and Windows
  • Access 97 on Windows

In addition to these tools, we have a great deal of past experience using a wide variety of tools including:

  • Simulink and Matlab 5.x, 4.x, and the freeware version
  • Database environments including 4th Dimension, 1022, and FoxPro
  • Mainframe software including SAS, Reduce, and Script/VS
  • Programming languages including Assembly, Fortran, Lisp, and Crash (real-time derivative of PL/I)
